Literacy in Ardmore and Carter County is soon to get a big boost! The Ardmore & New Dimension Literacy Councils are partnering to bring more funding, technology, teaching tools, tutors and other resources into the community.
In addition, there is now a facility devoted to literacy learning. On the site of the Ardmore Public Library (320 E Street NW) there is a building that some in the community may know as the site of annual book sales. That will now be a place where tutors and learners can meet, materials can be kept, and literacy activities can be coordinated.
